Stage Setups:
Our stages are written with a great deal of thought trying to balance challenge with speed while keeping the focus on fun. With that in mind here are some general expectations:

We will NOT have any stand and deliver stages

The target distances vary as will target sizes

There is at least one stage where the Rifle and Pistol sequences are different

Typical distance from teble to table is 10ish feet, not a track meet

No foot faults on our range

We do our best to have straight forward stages, no P traps - don't leave your thinker at home though.
Cowboy Clays and the Five Stand Night Shoot
Costs and Registration
The Cowboy Clays and 5-Stand Night Shoot are managed by our parent range ATC Shooting Sports Complex. They use an automated card system to track the number of clays a shooter uses during the shooting rounds. The shooter will prepay $10 for the card (refunded if the card is returned) amd $0.50 for each settled up at the end of the shoot with ATC.
Cowboy Clays:
12 Stations shot on the Falcon Course
100 rounds Smokeless or Black Powder
Cowboy Clays:
5 Stations shot "Under the Lights"
50 rounds Smokeless or Black Powder
Camping At The Range
Camping Area
The dry camping area is near the pavillion. It is spacious and level and generally free of any obstacles. We can arrange for sewer service with some advance notice otherwise there is a free dump station you can access on your way through town.
It IS the desert after all
We share the range with a few nasty creatures you need to keep an eye out for.
Rattlesnakes - they are common but generally bashful.
Fire Ants - they are very common and not bashful at all. Feel free to kill em all.
MEsquite and other prickly bushes - there doesn't seem to be a friendly plan on the place co just assume they are covered with thorns and other nasty things to make you say bad words and have to doctor wounds.
It IS Oil Country too
Keep your eyes out for drivers that seem to think they are immortal. Take extra time if you go into town as well as things tend to get pretty busy around dinner time and the traffic going into town can back up in a hurry.

The Club
The 7 Rivers Regulators was a SASS club in the early 2000's and it went away. This is a NEW groupd of shooters bringing the Regulators back to life. We are shooting in a new location, with new (to us) targets, and a focus on fun.
