Lucy's - 710 S Canal St $$
Good Mexican food, lots of room and generally great service.
El Jimador - 209 S Canal St, $$
Good Mexican food, not tons of room for large groups and generally great service. Best salsa in town, and you can order it to take with you.
Trinity Hotel and Restaurant - 201 S Canal St, $$$
Good food, no room for larger groups, decent wine list, and generally decent service. The only hotel in town with haunted rooms. Definitely call for a reservation.
Red Chimney Restaurant - 817 N Canal St, $$
Good barbecue (though not up to true Texas standards), no room for larger groups, and generally decent service.
Yellow Brix Restaurant - 201 N Canal St, $$$
Diverse menu with some unique dishes, no room for larger groups, and generally decent service. Call for a reservation.
Joe's Italian Restaurant - 201 N Canal St, $$
Excellent Italian and Pizza to go if that's your style. It gets busy for dine-in but it is worth it and the staff move things along pretty quickly.
Guadalupe Mountain Brewing Co - 3324 National Parks Hwy $$
,Excellent Pizza and Beer joint. It gets busy and noisy for dine-in. They are closed between lunch and dinner though.
Lucky Bull - 220 W Fox St, $$
Burgers and beer and a fun place to hang with the gang. They close at 9:00 so don't be surprised by the early last call .
